For hundreds of years, Russia has sought to erase the Ukrainian people, language, and culture.
Now the world watches in horror as putin’s army murders innocent Ukrainian civilians, bombs Ukrainian towns, and destroys priceless works of art and culture. While Ukrainian soldiers fight on the battlefield, we’re fighting with poetry and art. One may be able to destroy museums, but for every piece of culture destroyed, thousands will emerge in its place.
For the first time in history, a collaboration between visionary artist Phil Bosua and artificial intelligence has generated a million unique pieces of art reflecting Ukrainian culture and values.
We’re issuing a global challenge to mint all million of these pieces onto the blockchain, creating an immutable monument to the Ukrainian people and the power of technology to create peace – and to raise funds for humanitarian relief on the ground in Ukraine through the Kyiv School of Economics Charitable Foundation.
There are 29 sub-collections inspired by Ukrainian writers, poets, filmmakers, artists as well as ordinary Ukrainian people and cultural symbols.
Check out how AI is interpreting text, background music and reference images. Among sources of inspiration are Lina Kostenko, Oksana Zabuzhko, Oles Honchar, Oleksandr Dovzhenko, Maria Prymachenko, Ihor Pavlyuk, Ivan Marchuk, Ukrainian symbols and Ukrainian people.
